TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Real to Reel: Gen Z Short Film is open to all Filipino students ages 15 to 24 who are currently enrolled in school year 2024-2025 in any school, college, or university in the Philippines.
2. Each participant, whether participating solo or as part of a group, is allowed to submit a maximum of one (1) original film composition. Submissions can be made via the following link: https://realtoreel.ph/registration/
Additionally, entry must have not won in any similar competitions and must not have been previously exhibited on TV or online. Also, the use of the same entry to enter into another contest during the duration of this competition will not be allowed.
3. By submitting an entry, participants grant Pioneer Insurance a non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, and distribute the entry globally, in perpetuity, across all media, including the Real to Reel website and its social media channels and those under Pioneer Insurance. The top 10 entries will become the exclusive property of Pioneer Insurance, and participants agree to transfer all ownership rights, including copyright.
4. All materials, music/videos/photos, that will be used in the entry must be original, licensed, or in the public domain. Participant is responsible for obtaining all consents and waivers necessary to use the video for this competition. The video must refrain from showing, endorsing, or opposing any brand.
5. The film entries will be judged based on the following criteria: Content, Technical Excellence, Creativity, and Overall Visual Impact. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
6. The top 10 entries will be featured on the Real to Reel website and social media channels. The top 10 entries will receive cash prizes* and insurance coverage from Pioneer depending on the award tier:
Grand prize – P100,000
Second place – P50,000
Third place – P30,000
Online Favorite – P10,000
Remaining Top 10 finalists – P5,000
*Taxes on all cash prizes shall be shouldered by Pioneer.
7. Pioneer Insurance reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not adhere to the competition’s rules and regulations, including entries that are plagiarized, offensive, or violate any laws.
8. Pioneer Insurance reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at its discretion, without prior notification.
9. By participating in the competition, participants agree to indemnify and hold Pioneer Insurance, its affiliates, employees, and agents free and harmless from any liability arising from or related to their participation.
10. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines. Any disputes arising1 from or related to the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Philippine courts.
By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
